Giants news, 12/5: A return to Giants for ‘Jackrabbit?’

Janoris Jenkins

Cap casualty or defensive cornerstone?

Good morning, New York Giants fans! Here are your Wednesday morning headlines.

Why Janoris Jenkins might have earned a New York Giants return in 2019

Jackrabbit is different, and it is clear Pat Shurmur gets him.

“He just competes and keeps the noise out, that’s it,’’ Shurmur said. “He’s a tough sucker and I appreciate his spirit, too, because he just keeps competing. Every once in a while people get beat, but he just keeps fighting, keeps competing. You’re all becoming well aware I’m fond of the competitive guys, and he’s a competitor.’’
