Winning>Losing:
Gruden - Any win is good for the building. Any time you have a four-game losing streak there are going to be distractions.
— JP Finlay (@JPFinlayNBCS) December 17, 2018
Gruden on winning after the last month: “Negativity is a very big part of pro football when you have a four game losing streak. It’s our job as players and coaches to not give in.”

Special teams:
Gruden on importance of special teams: “Were gonna be grinding out some games these last couple weeks.”

Jay Gruden said Colt McCoy recently sent a video of him running through drills. McCoy underwent surgery to repair a broken fibula on Dec. 4. It’s unclear if the veteran QB will be able to return this season but it hasn’t been ruled out, either. #Redskins pic.twitter.com/qfJaF80vTa

Right before kickoff on Sunday, #Redskins Coach Jay Gruden sought out QB Josh Johnson for a quick chat. Johnson later said Gruden had told him, “Calm down.” Gruden added a little more to context to the convo today: pic.twitter.com/3Q7A1htsIA
