The Panthers have no lost three straight and are traveling to Tampa. We talk about it and other stuff.
The Panthers have now lost three straight games and find themselves on the outside of the playoffs looking in. The main culprit for the loss to the Seahawks was the pass defense and the red zone play calling. We talk about those things and what can be done to improve those moving forward. We also recap the standout performance from Christian McCaffrey and how well D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel are playing.
We preview the upcoming game against Jameis Winston and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Do we think the defense can get back on track against the team that has gained more yards than anybody? Maybe not. But at least there will be opportunities for sacks and turnovers. And there should be lots and lots of points.
In other news, the Panthers worked out some kickers this week, which is a nice bit of posturing that absolutely nobody is taking seriously.
Also, sprinkled into this episode is some Jon Gruden, Nathan Peterman, and Jahvid Best talk for your enjoyment. Because why wouldn’t a Panthers podcast talk about Jon Gruden, Nathan Peterman, and Jahvid Best?
