Monday Night Football open thread: Washington at Philadelphia

A big NFC East showdown looms on MNF.

It’s hard to believe that we’re already at Week 13 of the season, and there are just four more “Monday Night Football” games left. It feels like just yesterday that the Lions were kicking off the MNF schedule with their season opener against the [TEAM NAME REDACTED BECAUSE OF BAD MEMORIES].

But we’re here. It’s the first week of December, and “Monday Night Football” features two teams desperate for a win. With the Dallas Cowboys (7-5) currently rolling, neither Washington (6-5) nor the Philadelphia Eagles (5-6) can afford to drop too many more games down the stretch. A divisonal win for either team would be absolutely huge on Monday, so the stakes are pretty darn high.

That being said, both teams have been quite underwhelming as of late. Washington has lost three of their past four, partially because they’ve lost starting quarterback Alex Smith. The Eagles have lost two of their last three, and just don’t appear to be anywhere near the level they were as Super Bowl champions last year.

So who will come out victorious on Monday? Come watch with us!

Location: Lincoln Financial Field—Philadelphia, PA
