Jordan Raanan of ESPN just fired off an interesting series of Tweets:
Odell Beckham Jr. is going Thursday for outside evaluation on his quad. He was a limited participant in practice Wednesday and didn't play against the Redskins.

Odell Beckham Jr. had his quad checked by a doctor Thursday and didn’t practice. He said this injury has been lingering since the Eagles game. Something didn’t feel right and he spoke up on Friday. He’ll be back on the field whenever possible. #Giants

Odell Beckham Jr. was asked if it was a contusion. “I don’t know. It’s like saying I broke my leg but you really fractured it. It’s a choice of words, whatever you want to call it.

“Sh** ain’t right.” #Giants
There isn’t anything necessarily concrete here about Odell Beckham Jr. not playing on Sunday, but most guys don’t go for a second opinion on Thursday and then play on Sunday. This means the Titans will get an even heavier dose of Saquon Barkley from the Giants. I am not sure that is a good thing.
It does give the Titans’ defense one less weapon that they have to worry about. I feel pretty good about the secondary’s ability to control Sterling Shepard and Evan Engram. So not having to account for OBJ there as well should free up some resources to help stop Barkley....at least that is what I am hoping....
