The odds of Raiders having their starting guard tandem available when they head to Cincinnati Sunday just went down considerably with Gabe Jackson and Kelechi Osemele both missing from practice for a second-straight day Thursday.
Osemele has a toe injury which kept him out of last Sunday’s game against the Steelers. Late in that game, Jackson went down as well with an elbow injury. He was already banged up with an ankle and knee injury and the elbow added to those injuries have proven to be too much.
What we still don’t know is who exactly will replace them should they not go. Jon Feliciano is not available as he was placed on injured reserve this week. It means the duties fall to one of several newly added offensive linemen Chaz Green, Denver Kirkland, Cameron Hunt, and Denzelle Good.
The Bengals had a couple changes Thursday, notably with the cornerbacks where Dre Kirkpatrick returned to practice and cornerback KeiVarae Russell was downgraded from limited on Wednesday to missing practice Thursday with a finger injury.
