Unlike most weeks when the Thursday injury report would be the second of the week, it’s the first of this week as the Raiders are playing on Monday night against the Broncos.
Head coach Jon Gruden said Thursday that he was very optimistic Kelechi Osemele would be back this week from his toe injury. And Osemele gave him plenty to be hopeful for as the big left guard was not just back at practice, but practicing full Thursday.
Another uncertainty this week was Gareon Conley who is in the concussion protocol. He practice, which of course is a good sign, but was limited.
Those not practicing were defensive tackle Maurice Hurst (ankle) and cornerback Daryl Worley (shoulder). Both are starters and valuable contributors for a talent deficient Raiders defense, so their statuses will be worth watching. Hurst has been banged up lately and week 14 against the Steelers.
