The hits keep on coming
The Redskins lost another guard for the season last night when Jonathan Cooper tore his bicep. Tony Bergstrom also suffered a high ankle sprain that will keep him off the field for a few weeks. The Redskins lost starting guards Shawn Lauvao and Brandon Scherff earlier in the year. Ty Nsekhe and Luke Bowanko were playing guard by the end of the Eagles game.

The Redskins held workouts for guards and QBs yesterday. Josh Johnson will reportedly sign to be Mark Sanchez's backup. Washington also signed OLB Marcus Smith II and guard Zac Kerin, and placed Jonathan Cooper on IR. Kerin was an undrafted free agent out of Toledo for the Minnesota Vikings in 2014. He spent 3 seasons there before bouncing around the league to several teams. He has started 1 game and appeared in 14. He was with the Atlanta Falcons at the beginning of the season.
