Greetings, Raider Nation! There is one more Divisional playoff game today, and it’s coming at you live from the Big Easy as the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles take on the 1-seed New Orleans Saints. If the Saints win, they will host the Rams next week but if the Eagles win, they will visit Los Angeles.
Drew Brees is playing at an MVP level for the Saints and if not for the Herculean efforts of Patrick Mahomes he’d be a shoo-in for the award. As it is, his connection with Michael Thomas is easily the most dangerous in the league and Philly’s secondary may not be ready for it.
For the Eagles, Nick Foles is at quarterback and statistically, he’s the best quarterback in NFL Playoff history. The Saints’ defense has been pretty good, but Foles is playing at a godlike level in the postseason and he has plenty of weapons in the short passing game. The Saints always have the best homefield advantage in the NFL but will that be enough to keep Foles at bay?
The game can be seen on Fox at 1:30 PM Pacific. Enjoy the game!
