The Cardinals continue to search for offensive assistant coaches.
The Arizona Cardinals continue to look to upgrade their offensive coaching staff to try and help lift what was the worst offense in the NFL in 2018.
With that, the team has reached out to former first round pick, and now Clemson Tigers offensive assistant J.P. Losman.
The #AZCardinals and coach Kliff Kingsbury continue to look to the college game for offensive influence. Of note: They recently interviewed former first-round pick JP Losman, now a #Clemson offensive assistant coach, for a post on their offensive staff.

The Cardinals are looking to build a staff with knowledge and experience in the NFL, but also a staff that Kliff Kingsbury can lean on.
Losman obviously has NFL experience as a quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, but has been with the Clemson coaching staff since an internship started in 2017.
This is the type of potential hire that would continue to bridge college and NFL offensive designs and create a good sounding board for Kingsbury.
Obviously Losman’s college coaching career is brief, with only one season as an offensive assistant and one season as an intern, but coaching under maybe the second best coach in all of college football and learning under one of the best offenses helps. It also isn’t like Losman is coming in to be the offensive coordinator.
It will be interesting to see if the Cardinals and Kingsbury bring Losman on and if so in what type of capacity?
