Take a look inside the Patriots’ locker room from their win over the Chargers.
The New England Patriots are on to the AFC Championship game for the eighth year in a row: the team blew out the visiting Los Angeles Chargers 41-28 in a game that was never really as close as the final 13-point differential might indicate. The Patriots dominated from start to finish, and as a result were able to celebrate their 12th victory of the year in their postgame locker room.
"That's a good football team, but you were the better ones today."

The clip starts with the usual round of high-fives and hugs, and with team owner Robert Kraft alongside injured running back Jeremy Hill welcoming the team to the locker room. Afterwards, Bill Belichick took the floor to address the players. “Congratulations, men, that’s a good week of preparation. Played a lot of good football,” the Patriots’ head coach told his team before making sure its focus remains on the task ahead.
“Just keep doing what we’re doing, okay? And keep getting better each week and expect the competition to get better this week. That’s the way it is this time a year,” Belichick continued before once again praising the players for their performance against Los Angeles. “Great job today, men, great job. Give them credit, that’s a good football team you beat. They battles us all the way.”
“That’s a good football team. But you were the better ones today, and you deserve it — that’s why we’re moving on,” Belichick concluded before giving way to special teams captain Matthew Slater to break down the traditional postgame huddle: “How do we feel about beating the L.A. Chargers?” Awww yeah.
