Well, the first half went just about as badly as anyone could have drawn it up for the Indianapolis Colts. They struggled to do anything at all on offense until the final two minutes, couldn’t stop the Chiefs from moving the ball at will on any drive except the one where the Chiefs shot themselves in the foot with penalties.
To top it all off, after a great drive downfield, Vinatieri clanged on off the upright, sending them to halftime with no points on the drive and down 24-7. The only good play of note was a great job by the special teams unit to block a punt for a touchdown. They’re going to have to have a near complete change on both sides of the ball if they want to find any way to get back into this game.
