Former Patriots cornerback Ty Law, defensive lineman Richard Seymour named finalists for Hall of Fame Class of 2019

Will these two Patriots greats make the Hall of Fame?

The Pro Football Hall of Fame released their finalists for the Class of 2019 and there are a few former members of the New England Patriots among the candidates.

Cornerback Ty Law is a finalist for the third-straight year. Law played 15 seasons in the league and was named All Pro in 1998 and 2003, All-Decade for the 2000s, and has three Super Bowl rings.

Defensive lineman Richard Seymour is a first-time finalist in his second season of eligibility. He played 12 seasons and was named All Pro five times, All-Decade for the 2000s, and has three Super Bowl rings.

Law and Seymour are considered two of the most impactful defenders of the Patriots early-2000s dynasty.

Defensive back John Lynch is a finalist for the sixth time. Lynch spent a couple weeks with the Patriots one summer before retiring and is now the general manager of the San Francisco 49ers.

Congratulations to these players. You can read the full release here.
