CBS cap analyst Joel Corry wrote this prior to the New York Post report that the Giants seem to be leaning toward bringing Eli Manning back in 2019.

Giants need to commit to Dwayne Haskins as next franchise QB | New York Post
The Giants might not be sold on Dwayne Haskins yet. Post columnist Steve Serby is. He writes:
Gettleman has a chance to extricate himself from Quarterback Hell if he can bring himself to sign off on what Haskins does well instead of passing on him because of what he doesn’t do well.
Gettleman has a 38-year-old quarterback and no guarantee he will be in position to draft Class of 2020 quarterbacks Justin Herbert, Tua Tagovailoa or Jake Fromm.
He needs to start swinging for a franchise quarterback, and he needs to start swinging now.
The Giants have the sixth-overall pick, and Haskins is the best quarterback prospect in the 2019 draft.
Oklahoma teammate says football is Kyler Murray's love | SI.com
The Giants probably aren’t drafting Murray. That doesn’t, though, mean his presence in the draft doesn’t impact them. One thing teams have to judge is whether Murray really wants to play football, or whether he will pursue a baseball career after being drafted by the Oakland Athletics.
A couple of his Oklahoma teammates weighed in on Murray’s future during Senior Bowl week.
