Earlier this week it was reported that former Denver Broncos defensive coordinator Joe Woods might be of interest to the Jaguars as a potential assistant coach candidate, now it appears the two sides will meet to discuss a possible position with the team per Mike Klis of 9News in Denver.
After interviewing in Arizona yesterday, former Broncos D-coordinator Joe Woods will likely visit Jax, Washington and possibly one other team before making decision midweek. All interested in him as DB or DB+. #9sports

It’s expected that Woods will interview for the opening left by the firing of former Jags defensive backs coach Perry Fewell.
Woods made his hay coming up the coaching ranks as a defensive backs coach for a multitude of teams collegiately and in the NFL, including the Buccaneers, Vikings, Raiders, and Broncos, where he eventually took over as coordinator when Wade Phillips departed.= following the hire of Vance Joseph.
