Only in the Pro Bowl can you see a Chiefs quarterback completing a ball to a Raiders player...on purpose. In this case it’s Patrick Mahomes who found Raiders tight end Jared Cook in the first quarter for a 33-yard gain.

Mahomes is used to throwing to a great tight end. He had All Pro Travis Kelce in Kansas City. As fate would have it, Kelce opted out of the Pro Bowl which opened the door for Cook to make the team as an alternate.
On the first drive for the AFC, Mahomes found the other AFC tight end Eric Ebron for a touchdown. After a defensive stop to turn it over on downs, the AFC took over at their own 4-yard-line. They needed to get out of the shadow of their own end zone and did so in a big way with the 33-yard completion to Cook.
Cook was second in the AFC in receiving yard behind Kelce so he is very deserving of being in Orlando for this year’s Pro Bowl.
