AAF Week 2 Discussion

Talk about this weekend’s action right here!

We are approaching kickoff of the start of Week 2 in the inaugural season of the Alliance of American Football, and we’re going to put all of the discussion right here in one spot for all of you Minnesota Vikings fans to talk about this week’s games.

As will be the case every weekend, the AAF will have two games on Saturday and two games on Sunday. Last weekend, all four of the home teams were victorious in their debuts. Will the same hold true this week?

Things will kick off with our adopted team, the Salt Lake Stallions, playing their second straight road game to start the season as they travel to take on the Birmingham Iron. That game starts at 1:00 PM Central and will be broadcast on TNT.

The Saturday night contest will be shown on the NFL Network, and will feature the Memphis Express. . .who are still looking for their first points of the year. . .hosting the Arizona Hotshots. That game will be kicking off at 7:00 PM Central.

Sunday’s slate will start with the only matchup of teams that both won their openers, as the Orlando Apollos will hit the road to take on the San Antonio Commanders. That game will start at 3:00 PM Central and will be shown on the CBS Sports Network.

Last, but not least, the only matchup between teams that both lost their openers will wrap up Week 2, as the Atlanta Legends make a trip to the west coast to take on the San Diego Fleet. Like the Saturday night game, the late Sunday game will be on the NFL Network, and will get started at 7:00 PM Central.

Here’s hoping that everyone enjoys this weekend of AAF action! Things got off to a promising start last weekend, from the games that I saw, so hopefully the new league can carry that momentum forward.
