Overall, the Raiders strength of schedule for 2019 is .539, which is just slightly ahead of the Broncos, who have the second most difficult strength of schedule at .537, which means Joe Flacco’s first year in Denver could be a rough one. The Chargers are actually the only team in the AFC West that doesn’t have one of the NFL’s five most difficult schedules (The Chiefs strength of schedule is tied with the Bears for the fifth most difficult overall).

Rob Rolle, S, Villanova – The Chiefs need a safety and Rob Rolle of Villanova is a guy who can come in right away and start. Rolle, a New Jersey native stands at 5110 and weighs 190 pounds. He is not afraid of contact and has a nose for the ball. I think he is a late round pick, but he would be a great draft pick for the Chiefs later in the draft, especially with Sam Madison as their new defensive back’s coach.

1. The Bears are expected to release tight end Dion Sims, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per a source. A salary cap casualty, Sims was due to make $6 million in 2019.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will not place a franchise or transition tag on the All-Pro running back, general manager Kevin Colbert told local reporters on Wednesday.
”Le’Veon is still a great player,” Colbert said. “We can’t afford to use any other type of tags. Le’Veon will be an unrestricted free agent at the start of the new league year.”

The Pittsburgh Steelers are unquestionably quarterback Ben Roethlisberger’s team, according to general manager Kevin Colbert. Colbert called Roethlisberger the “unquestioned leader” of the locker room who has the freedom to publicly criticize teammates if he sees fit.
”He’s the elder statesmen and the Super Bowl winner,” Colbert told a group of local reporters Wednesday. “If our players were smart, they’d listen to him because he’s been there. He’s done it. He can tell them, ‘No guys, what you’re doing is or is not good enough to do this.’”

Steve Spagnuolo and Brett Veach have broken new ground
Quite simply, Brett Veach and Andy Reid pinned the blame on the defensive coaching staff and cleaned house.
While the hiring of new defensive coordinator Steve Spagunolo necessitated some turnover on the staff, gutting the entire defensive positional coaching staff and replacing with all new coaches is something we haven’t seen in the previous few defensive coordinator changes for Reid.
