McCaffrey received yet another accolade for his brilliant 2018 campaign.
The accolades just keep piling up for Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey this offseason.
Pro Football Focus announced that McCaffrey landed at No. 38 on its Top 101 NFL players list on Wednesday. McCaffrey continues to be recognized as one of the best running backs in the league, and honestly, it’s so refreshing to see. The all-pro running back wasn’t expected to have nearly 1000 rushing and receiving yards, especially during a down season for the Panthers. Here’s the tweet to confirm McCaffrey’s place on the list:

As you can see, McCaffrey was given an 89.3 receiving grade, which is especially impressive for a running back. His 860 yards after catch show that the running back is one of the most elusive in the league. In a previous article, I mentioned that McCaffrey had the most catches as a 22-year-old in NFL history. If he keeps up his impressive in-field performance (along with some improvements in the Panthers offensive line), the Panthers may be one step closer to a formidable playoff team once again.
