The NFL has officially announced the list of compensatory draft picks for the 2019 draft, with the Indianapolis Colts receiving the 33rd pick of the fourth round, and the 135th pick of the draft. This pick is awarded for the free-agency loss of former wide receiver Donte Moncrief, who signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars last March.

Fifteen teams were given out extra picks, with the most going to the Arizona Cardinals, the New England Patriots and the Washington Redskins. No other team besides the Colts in the AFC South were rewarded with an extra pick.
The extra fourth-round pick gives the Colts nine total selections heading into this year’s draft, with six in the first first four rounds and three in the first 58 picks. The Colts had zero compensatory picks last season but had 11 total draft selections.
After mangling a trade with the New York Jets last offseason, general manager Chris Ballard was able to secure an extra second-round draft choice at 34, after the Jets managed to go just 4-12 on the season.
