We got so many responses on Twitter that we wanted to share some of your answers here.
Yesterday the Sunday Night Football Twitter account Tweeted out the following;
Let's get nostalgic.
— SNF on NBC (@SNFonNBC) February 6, 2019
Name an NFL player that'll make everyone go, "ahh yeah, I remember that guy... he was awesome!"
I thought it was a fun topic for Chicago Bears’ fans, so I jacked it and made it our own.
#Bears fans, who you got? https://t.co/mZtw1wytfL

The way I took the original question was about a player that was probably not a superstar, but a guy that may have slipped through historical cracks even though he had a nice career in Chicago. I’m not talking about the Walter Paytons or the Devin Hesters, nor am I talking about the Cade McNowns or the Daniel Bravermans. I’m talking about a player that isn’t regularly mentioned in casual NFL conversation, but a guy that if you heard his name and thought about it for a second, you’d have fond memories and say, “ahh yeah, I remember that guy... he was awesome!”
We got a bunch of traction on the Tweet, so I wanted to share a few of your responses here, but I also asked some of our writers to chime in with some names.
Here are a few of the players that we mentioned;
Sam Householder - Adrian Peterson, Kyle Orton, Bobby Engram, Brock Forsey, Jerry Azumah
Steven Schweickert - Jason McKie
Jacob Infante - Hunter Hillenmeyer, Devin Aromashodu, Dane Sanzenbacher, Fred Miller, Mark Anderson, John Gilmore
Jeff Berckes - Israel Idonije, Adawale Ogunleye, Tom Waddle, Jeff Graham, Marty Booker
Josh Sunderbruch - Brad Maynard
Ken Mitchell - Matt Suhey, Doug Buffone, Johnny Knox, Doug Plank, Alonzo Spellman, Trace Armstrong, Thomas Jones
Erik Christopher Duerrwaechter - Desmond Clark, John St. Clair, Josh Beekman, Chris Williams
Jack M Silverstein - Marcus Robinson, Mike Brown, Glyn Milburn, Tommie Harris, Mo Douglass, Brendon Ayanbadejo
Kev H - Jonathan Quinn, Craig Krenzel, Kordell Stewart, Chad Hutchison, Brian Griese, Chris Chandler, Moses Moreno, Peter Tom Willis (this list is peak Kev being Kev)
Some of those guys were more awesome than others, but it’s all subjective.
Now let’s check in with a few of you guys!

You have to be old to remember this guy but Roland Harper. Came 8 yds short of 1000 yds one year as Walter’s lead blocker. Underrated back.
