Tom Coughlin and Dave Caldwell traded a fifth round pick for Hyde in the middle of the season last year with starting running back Leonard Fournette missing more time than expected. But he only averaged 3.3 yards per carry and didn’t score a touchdown.
Granted, that offense was running on fumes by the end of the season, but the Jaguars can save $4.75 million if they cut him at the beginning of the league year.
