Marvin Lewis has a new job in the broadcast booth

Marvin Lewis already has a new job, and he’s exchanging a headset for a microphone.

Former Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis has a new job for the first time in 16 years.

After his decade and a half stint with the Bengals ended in January, it only took about a month for Lewis to find work. This time, in a different aspect of the game.

Lewis will be in the broadcast booth this Sunday night for the opening weekend of the American Alliance of Football. Starting at 8:00 p.m. EST from Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Arizona, Lewis will call the game between the two favorites to win the AAF championship, the Salt Lake Stallions and the Arizona hotshots.

Lewis will be joined in the booth by Dan Hellie and Maurice Jones-Drew.

This will be the fourth game of the AAF’s inaugural weekend. The season will be 10 weeks long and the Championship game will be on April 27th, the Saturday of the NFL Draft.

In this game that Lewis is calling, two former Bengals will be in uniform. DT Marcus Hardison and LB Carl Bradford, who both went to school at Arizona State as well, are rostered by the Hotshots.

Whether or not Lewis will be an analyst for the rest of his career, we hope that he does well and we wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
