Morse or Paradis: which center best fits the Bills?

It’s your turn to choose, Bills fans

Okay, Buffalo Bills fans. We’ve laid out the options at center in free agency this offseason. We’ve had a preliminary poll. We’ve profiled the clubhouse leaders, Mitch Morse and Matt Paradis. Now, it’s your turn to choose.

Do you want to go with the slightly older, more established, and more durable player in Paradis? He’s coming off a broken leg, yes, but he missed time with the Denver Broncos in 2018 for the first time in his NFL career. He’s a strong run blocker and a solid pass blocker, and he has experience in zone-based schemes that will probably be the bread-and-butter of new Bills’ offensive-line coach Bobby Johnson.

Or, would you prefer to go with the younger player in Morse? Having played in a high-flying offense this season with the Kansas City Chiefs, Morse clearly understands how to set protections and maintain blocks for a quarterback who loves to improvise. He is one of the best pass protectors in the league, and he is arguably the best interior pass protector in the NFL, having last allowed a sack in Week 7 of the 2015 NFL season. He’s a stellar run blocker, as well, but he has an extensive concussion history and has missed 14 of Kansas City’s last 32 regular season games.

So who’s your guy? Does Buffalo bring in Morse to break the code that is NFL defenses, or do they purchase a ticket to Paradis? Discuss in the comments below.
