Bringing your daily links to the NFL’s New York Jets
Good morning, Jet fans! I hope everyone’s having a great start to their day. Some interesting news in Jet-land as it has been reported that Gregg Williams will in fact stay with a 3-4 defensive base scheme. It’s not exactly jaw-dropping, but it does affect the type of players primarily used in the front seven for the scheme. Also reported is that the Jets are now having buyers’ remorse for the Trumaine Johnson contract. Who would have guessed. Le’Veon Bell has stated he wants 50 Million within his first two years of a contract, which seems improbable unless he’s talking about total guaranteed money involved. His teammate Antonio Brown has also not been helping himself much with finding possible suitors, as he too has been pretty outlandish on social media. Considering the NFL has had no problem discontinuing great diva receivers in the past, Brown should tread lightly on this path. At this point I’m leaning towards the Jets just overlooking both of them and looking for other players that seem to be less of a headache. With that, here are your links for the team this Thursday.
