The Saints signed three players to ERFA tenders, per Nick Underhill of The Advocate.
The New Orleans Saints have picked up three more of their own on Monday. Long snapper Zach Wood, offensive lineman Cameron Tom, and linebacker/special teamed Vince Biegel have been brought back on ERFA tenders. The Saints signed all three players to a one-year deal with a base salary of $645,000 for the 2019 season.
Zach Wood had a very successful season, as he started all 16 games and was a big part to Wil Lutz and Thomas Morstead’s Pro Bowl caliber seasons with perfect snaps.
Cameron Tom provided good depth for the Saints top offensive line, but didn't get much playing time. However, the Saints are excited for Tom as a prospect.
Vince Biegel provided lots of special teams snaps and saw his number called on more and more during the season after being signed from the Green Bay Packers.
All these players aren't guaranteed to be on the team after camp, but Zach Wood has emerged as a lock taking over the long snapper position for the Saints. Both the linebacker and offensive line position are very deep and talented. Tom and Biegel will have to compete in training camp to get a spot on the 53-man roster.
