After what has been a short honeymoon, the Cincinnati Bengals have entered the month of February on a sour note. Who will take the seemingly-unwanted defensive coordinator job and do the Bengals now need to look at adding to the running back group again this offseason?
Does it feel like the Zac Taylor honeymoon is over? As the Cincinnati Bengals start gearing up for the NFL Combine and other pre-draft festivities, they do so without a number of defensive coaches in place.
Taylor is now down to about option No. 8 for defensive coordinator, per reports, and it’s unclear who will actually take the job at this point. Is it time for the young head coach to reach out to more expensive, veteran options like Rex Ryan, or John Fox?
Also, now that multiple off-field arrests have surfaced with backup running back, Mark Walton, should the team part ways with the second-year man? If so, does that mean Cincinnati needs to add another player at the position this offseason?
