Another one!
The Buffalo Bills, not satisfied with adding three offensive linemen, a tight end, and a wide receiver for their offense, added another free-agent receiver in Cole Beasley, per NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo. ESPN’s Mike Rodak confirmed the report, adding that the four-year, $29 million deal has $14.4 million guaranteed for the receiver.
Beasley, who will turn 30 in April, is entering his eighth NFL season having spent the first seven with the Dallas Cowboys. Originally signed as an undrafted free agent, the 5’8”, 180-pound Beasley found his way onto the field as a reliable slot receiver. He has 319 career receptions for 3271 yards and 23 touchdowns, with a 65/672/3 receiving slash in 2018.
Buffalo’s offense needed a reliable slot outlet to earn yards after the catch and provide Josh Allen a safety valve. With Beasley’s entrance (and Zay Jones and Isaiah McKenzie on the roster), that box is checked.
