Jets beat out Raiders to get the prize of free agency.
It took two days of intense speculation and finger drumming, but it looks like we finally know where Le’Veon Bell will be signing. He’s headed to the New York Jets according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The Raiders were said to be going hard after and at one point looked like they could be the favorite to land him. But the Jets entered the race late, following Anthony Barr reversing course and returning to the Vikings. The Jets immediately turned their attention to Bell and they appear to have won his affections.
The exact contract details should be out shortly, but it’s important to note that Bell had turned down a contract offer from the Steelers that was worth $70 million over five years and he turned it down. He was rumored to be asking for something in the neighborhood of $17 million per season. As we learned with Antonio Brown’s issues with the Steelers that had him force a trade, guaranteed money could also have been a primary factor.
Update: He has singed a 4-year deal worth $52.1 million. That is $13.1 million per season.
For the #Jets and RB Le’Veon Bell, it’s a 4-year deal worth $52.5M, source said.

Bell is widely considered the best back in football. The now 27-year-old sat out all last season rather than play on the franchise tag. Bell has made the Pro Bowl and averaged over 1300 yards rushing in each of his last three full NFL seasons, and was named All Pro twice.
