The Jacksonville Jaguars are reportedly trying to trade veteran defensive tackle Malik Jackson and running back Carlos Hyde, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Jaguars are attempting to trade DT Malik Jackson and RB Carlos Hyde, per league sources, two players that some believe could be productive with the right opportunities. Jacksonville aiming to strike agreements that can be processed when the league year opens March 13.

Jackson has been listed as a player that is likely to be released if the Jaguars can’t find a buyer, but there is no reason they can’t get some kind of compensation for a player who is just one year removed from a Pro Bowl appearance and a memorable Week 17 performance to go out on.
Hyde, however, was a bit disappointing last season. Some of that is on his offensive line being backups of backups of backups, some of that is on one of the worst passing games in the league, and some of it is on him.
All that said, I think a Day 3 pick for Jackson seems about right. I’d be surprised if they got anything for Hyde though.
