Jawaan Taylor to visit Bills before NFL Draft

The Florida Gators former anchor at right tackle would be a nice addition to the Bills offensive line

Every NFL team is allowed to hold 30 pre-draft visits with players. In a report from Graham Hall of the Gainesville Sun, top offensive-tackle prospect Jawaan Taylor said he will be meeting with the Buffalo Bills, among other teams, prior to the 2019 NFL Draft.

Taylor had 35 starts at Florida, almost all playing right tackle, before declaring for the draft. Taylor is considered one of, if not the top tackle prospect in this class. He has a lot of athleticism and length—and he uses those advantages well. Taylor would fill an immediate hole and has the potential to do so for a ten- to 15-year stretch.

The Bills put a band-aid over the right tackle position in free agency with Ty Nsekhe. Nsekhe is a quality swing tackle in the NFL and would likely be the Bills’ starting right tackle if the season were to start tomorrow. At 33-years old and on a two-year deal, Nsekhe isn't the long-term answer at either of the tackle spots.

With the ninth overall pick, Taylor could be there for the Bills to select depending on how the draft falls.
