It has been known for some time that the Seattle Seahawks are going to let K.J. Wright test the market for his services when free agency opens in March, however, at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis John Schneider provided some insight into the status of another pending free agent, All World free safety Earl Thomas.
John Schneider says he's had no recent contact with Earl Thomas. Says he will test free agency says they'll see what happens.

Specifically, as many have expected since his season ended with a broken leg suffered against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 4, Thomas is expected to hit free agency and see what he can find there. This is not a surprising outcome following the standoff between the two side last summer, including a holdout that started with voluntary workouts in the spring and lasted through training camp and up to the eve of the 2018 season.
Other former Seahawks teammates have made it no secret regarding their hopes that Thomas could wind up as a teammate once again, such as cornerback Richard Sherman, who is now with the San Francisco 49ers.
Just bumped into Richard Sherman who continues to recruit former teammate and soon-to-be FA Earl Thomas. Said the Cowboys will be very much in the mix and if offers are even Thomas will go to Dallas.

However, with two more weeks until free agency starts and more than a handful of teams with both the cap space and desire to add Earl to their roster, it’s going to certainly be interesting to see how things play out.
