Defense is everything in today’s workout and media sessions.

The penultimate day of the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine gets underway shortly, and all the players at positions on offense have already left Indianapolis. It’s time for the defensive prospects to shine and put forth their best efforts in Indy to solidify their positioning for the 2019 NFL Draft.
Beginning at 9:00 AM Eastern, defensive linemen and linebackers will begin their on-field drills at Lucas Oil Stadium. Watch for plenty of college defensive ends to work out in linebacker drills as well so the scouts for teams running 3-4 defenses can get a look at their change-of-direction ability in space.
In the afternoon, the defensive backs will meet with the media in the final interview sessions of the week. With the Packers in the market for some help at safety, keep an eye on those players’ comments in the afternoon.
