Pittsburgh Steelers trade Antonio Brown to Oakland Raiders

The Pittsburgh Steelers have traded wide receiver Antonio Brown to the Oakland Raiders for a third and fifth round pick.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have traded wide receiver Antonio Brown to the Oakland Raiders for a third and fifth round pick. The Denver Broncos will now have to contend with Brown twice a year in the AFC West.

Not only that, but the Raiders have already worked out a deal with Brown that would make him the highest paid wide receiver in the NFL. According to Adam Schefter, Brown will get a three-year deal worth $50.125 million that could jump to $54.125 million with incentives. Brown had no guaranteed money until the trade, but now gets $30.125 million in guaranteed money.

Brown has averaged 114 receptions for 1542 yards and 11 touchdowns a season over the last six years. Against the Broncos in four games (including the playoffs), he has averaged 9 receptions for 100 yards a game with a total of two touchdowns. Most of that came in one game in 2015, however, when he racked up 16 receptions for 189 yards and two touchdowns against the No Fly Zone.

The Raiders are doing things. We’ll find out soon if they were the right things.

What do you think Broncos Country?
