Interesting rumor.
According to NFL Networks Mike Garafolo, Chiefs center Mitch Morse is on the Broncos watch list along with Matt Paradis who the Broncos also have interest in re-signing depending the price.

This is the first real reported connection between Morse and the Broncos but it makes sense. Morse would be an excellent fit in the Broncos zone offense and could step right in as a starter for them.
Morse is a 6’6”, 305lb center who is entering his 5th season in the NFL and is only 26 years old(will turn 27 in April). He has been a four-year starter for the Chiefs during that span but has dealt with injuries the past few seasons and has only played in 18 total regular season games during the span.
According to reports. Morse could demand up to $10 million dollars per year on the free agent market so it will be interesting to see if the Broncos are willing to go that far for Morse.
Pro Football Focus ranked Morse as their third best interior offensive lineman to hit the free agent market.
Like Paradis, Morse is a center ready to hit free agency off his rookie contract. He doesn’t quite have the track record that Paradis does (hence his lower spot on the list), but he has shown the ability to succeed in the NFL, particularly in pass protection. This past season, Morse allowed just five pressures in 534 pass-blocking snaps, and not one of those pressures was a sack. In fact, he has not allowed a sack since his rookie season in 2015.
I believe Matt Paradis is their top target, however the cap rich Buffalo Bills and the New York Jets appear to be prioritizing the center position and figure to pay Paradis handsomely in the coming hours/days. If that does happen, Morse gives the Broncos a solid ‘Plan B’ to replace Paradis if the price is right.
