Raiders fans got pretty tired of watching Eric Berry dominate the secondary every time they played the Chiefs. Berry has been struggling to return from serious leg injuries the past couple seasons and now the Chiefs will field another former All Pro safety. They are signing Tyrann Mathieu to a 3-year deal according to the same guy who is always on the agents’ speed text.
Sources: The #Chiefs are expected to sign standout S Tyrann Mathieu, swiping him from the #Texans. The deal should eclipse $12M per year.

Honey Badger signs on for a 3-year, $42 million deal which is a steal especially when you consider what Washington just shelled out for Landon Collins. It may seem like Mathieu has been in the league for a decade, but this will be his 7th year and he’s still just 26.
He’s also 5-9 and the Raiders already have their mighty mite safety in 5-10 Karl Joseph, so Mathieu wasn’t likely on their radar.
Kenny Vaccaro also re-upped with the Titans so he won’t hit the market. Even with those safeties gone, the likes of Earl Thomas, Adrian Amos, Clayton Geathers, and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix are still out there.
