We got so many responses on Twitter that we wanted to share some of your answers here.
Yesterday I tweeted out the following:
Which play from this #Bears season sent the biggest chill up your spine?
— Robert Schmitz (@robertkschmitz) March 24, 2019
The idea behind the question is that fans are different. While we can argue and debate which play was “most important” to the Chicago Bears 2018 season, everyone had their own special moment this year where a chill shot up your spine after something (ideally good) happened.
For example, there was one play this season that stuck out to me, personally. After losing in Week 1 to the Green Bay Packers, I entered Week 2’s Monday Night Football game desperate for the Bears to prove to me this wasn’t going to be “just another season” for the “same ol’ Bears”.
Then Prince Amukamara did this:
That was CLUTCH.@PrinceAmukamara Pick-6! #DaBears #SEAvsCHI

I can honestly say it was then that I started believing there was something special about these Bears. That play meant a lot to me, and a chill certainly shot up my spine.
The Tweet got a lot more traction than I was anticipating, so I wanted to share a few of your responses here!
Here are a few of the moments you mentioned:
Trubisky TD to Burton go up 21-14 on the Packers Dec 16th. Cohen had fumbled on the previous possession. Defense steps up & forces the punt & Mitch takes them 45 for a TD to take the lead. Bears teams of the past fold after Tarik’s fumble but not this team.

Mitch's 8-yard run against the Pats where he covered about 60 yards. https://t.co/FLr4cxsSqD

Roquans pick vs the eagles
— blankface (@Rudysfuckingodd) March 24, 2019
Anthony Miller TD vs Vikings. His celebration after was my exact feeling. Rams TD a close 2nd
— BH (@bharrison2010) March 24, 2019
Eddie Jackson's interception against the Packers to clinch the division. Everything about that moment was so perfect (Except for Eddie getting hurt) #Bears

Hicks forced fumble on the goal line in OT vs. MIA.
— Lawrence Kippers (@lawkipp) March 24, 2019
Kevin white coming down with the Hail Mary... didn’t end well, but I think my head hit my ceiling that game
— Ken Rediger (@KenRediger) March 24, 2019
Eddie Goldman safety against the Rams.
— Monster (@ofthemidway) March 24, 2019
The Leonard Floyd sack on Rodgers. I knew at that moment the Pack weren’t making the playoffs and their reign on the NFC North was over

I screamed so loud when this happened.
— Mitchell Barnes (@Mitchooooooo) March 24, 2019
Has to be the Cohen to Miller TD against the Giants to go into OT. I was super pissed watching it in a bar, and I jumped out of my seat yelling when that happened.

When Eddie Jackson defensed the Aaron Rodgers hail-mary.
— Bear Pause (@ChicagoBearPaws) March 24, 2019
If it were any other year, that would’ve been complete.
The changing of the tides.
It was the Mack TD for me. First game of the season, first with Mack in a Bears uni, at the Pack after we had knocked out Aaron Rodgers. Just felt like we saw this defense for what it was going to be and that play peaked it all for me
— Matt Carstensen (@CarsKeys1) March 24, 2019
For me it has to be @EJackson_4 pick 6 on Thanksgiving. For them to win that game, as tired and worn out as they had to have been, showed their perseverance and heart. #Bears ⬇️

Mack stripping Kizer against GB. That and his pick six in the first half of game one was the highest moment since Hester's return in the Super Bowl and made me think anything was possible again. The Bears finally got their Reggie White guy.
— Amundjoy (@amund_joy) March 24, 2019
I think the AROB reception that set up Parkey’s miss in the wild card game. After seeing Mitch and the team fold under pressure wk 1 against GB. The way Mitch and AROB played especially in the 4th made me think this kid could be special
— Rick Knight (@Rickdaruler773) March 24, 2019
Eddie Jackson pick 6 at the end of the cardinals game to cover after the offense was horrible all game. Then it was called back due to Mack being offsides
— Joe Klochan (@joeklochan) March 24, 2019
Probably the Jackson pick six against Minnesota.

Hicks TD
— EL JEFE' (@sim54gar) March 24, 2019
That game was the highest and lowest moment of the season for me. Talk about emotional roller coaster.
— JC Neall (@jcneall) March 24, 2019
The Eddie Jackson pick 6 against the Vikings. Soldier Field hasn't erupted like that in a very long time. I knew for a fact that times have changed and Da Bears we're back.
— Big Bear (@BigBear_Bear10) March 24, 2019
Floyd’s sack against the Eagles. I’m like okay, we got this now!
— Bears, Mariners, and Fake Sens Fan (@5MustGo) March 24, 2019
Eddie Jackson’s pick 6 vs the Lions on Thanksgiving. I definitely saw it as a turning point of sorts.

Goldman Safety vs Rams or Eddie Jackson pick 6 vs Vikings
