2019 Arizona Cardinals matchups to look forward to

With the NFL schedules set to be announced today, which games are you most looking forward to?

The draft board for the Arizona Cardinals is set and we are 8 days away from the 2019 NFL Draft. Rumors are still swirling and fans can hardly wait to see who the #1 overall pick is going to be.

But in the meantime, another big piece of NFL news is set to be released in the form of the 2019-20 schedule. We already know who the opponents are going to be, but fans that enjoy taking some time away from work to go see a road game will now finally get to start putting their plans together.

So which games should you most be looking forward to? Let’s take a quick look.

Home against the Cleveland Browns - there was a leak that came out late last week stating that the Browns would be visiting the Arizona Cardinals on Thanksgiving night, which would be a really fun nationally televised game. Seeing Kyler Murray or Josh Rosen at quarterback take on Baker Mayfield would be a great storyline. Then you also have former Cardinals head coach Steve Wilks, who is now the defensive coordinator for Cleveland.

Away against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers - this could be one of those matchups that interests absolutely no one outside of the Cardinals fan base. The only reason to tune in for this would be to see the Cards take on their former head coach, Bruce Arians. The whole ending to the Arians saga in the desert still feels really clouded and some have speculated that perhaps the two sides did not part on as good of terms as originally thought. Regardless, it will be fun to see if the Cardinals can beat Arians on his new home field.

Home against the Los Angeles Rams - when your team loses by a combined 56 points in the previous season between two games against your division rival, you want vengeance. Add in the fact that the Rams were just in the Super Bowl and State Farm Stadium should be rocking when Sean McVay, Todd Gurley, Aaron Donald and Jared Goff come to town. The holdover players from the 2018 Cardinals team should put on a good show for the fans in this one.

Those are the three games I am most looking forward to. What about you? Let us know in the comments below.
