The New York Jets selected Alabama defensive tackle Quinnen Williams with the 3rd overall pick in the first round of the 2019 NFL draft yesterday. Today the Jets have picks #68 and #93 in the third round. Thus far offensive linemen and cornerbacks have been flying off the board in the second round. Those are positions of urgent need for the Jets; the window to trade up and improve there is rapidly closing, although there are still some interesting possibilities at cornerback. Whatever happens we’ll be talking about the developments as they occur throughout the second and third rounds right here.
