Fry? Fry? Anyone, Fry? Another leg in the kicker derby
The Chicago Bears have added yet another kicker to the leg derby for this summer.
Joining the fray with Redford Jones and Chris Blewitt is Elliott Fry, according to the Sun-Times’ Patrick Finley.
#Bears sign K Elliott Fry

Fry most recently played for the Champion? Orlando Apollos of the now-defunct Alliance of American Football.
Finley reports that Fry was 14-of-14 for the Apollos, who were coached by former South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier. Fry also played collegiately at South Carolina from 2013 to 2016 and finished as the Gamecocks all-time leading scorer.
It was previously reported on Wednesday that the Bears had worked out Younghoe Kim and Nick Rose, also of the AAF but were not expected to sign either. No word yet on how they came in to Fry.
So Fry, Jones and Blewitt. Who ya got? Are the Bears turning over every stone in their efforts to replace Cody Parkey or what? Are they finally finished adding kickers or will there be more moves? Stay tuned.
