The NFL has announced its 2019 preseason game schedule. Here are the dates for the Denver Broncos preseason games.
The Denver Broncos will open the 2019 season Aug. 1 with the Hall of Fame game against the Atlanta Falcons - which you already knew - but the team announced its five-game preseason schedule today that includes two nationally televised games.
The Broncos will have home contests against the San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals but go on the road to face the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams.
Four of Denver’s preseason games will be televised locally by 9NEWS/KTVD-Channel 20 while the Broncos’ home game against San Francisco will be broadcast on ESPN’s “Monday Night Football.”
KOA NewsRadio (850 AM & 94.1 FM) - the Broncos’ flagship radio station, along with its Spanish partner radio station, KNRV (1150 AM) - will also broadcast the team’s preseason matchups.
With a 4-2 all-time preseason game record against the Falcons, the Broncos will be making their fourth all-time appearance in the Hall of Fame Game and their first since 2004 when former quarterback and current GM John Elway became the franchise’s first Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee.
The matchup with the Falcons will be played in the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, adjacent to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, in Canton, Ohio. Broncos’ owner Pat Bowlen and former Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey will be inducted into the Hall of Fame two days later on Aug. 3 - making this a great year to get tickets and head out to Canton!

Denver will face the Seahawks in Week 2 at CenturyLink Field where the Broncos lead the all-time preseason series against Seattle 10-3.
The first home game for the Broncos will come in Week 3 when they host the San Francisco 49ers at Broncos Stadium at Mile High on Aug. 19 (6 p.m. MDT, ESPN) for “Monday Night Football.” Denver, which is 22-16 all-time against San Francisco in the preseason, will be making its first preseason MNF appearance since 2007 when it beat the Niners 17-13 at San Francisco.
In Week 4, Denver will face the NFC champion Los Angeles Rams. Owning an 8-2 all-time record against the Rams in the preseason, the Broncos will play their first game at the Los Angeles Coliseum since December 1994 - a game they lost 23-13 against the Los Angeles Raiders.
The Broncos will wrap up preseason play at home against the Arizona Cardinals on Aug. 29 for a Thursday night game at Broncos Stadium at Mile High. This will mark the 13th time in the last 15 years — and the 19th time overall — the Broncos and Cardinals have squared off in their preseason finales.
The Broncos, who beat the Cardinals 21-10 in 2018, are 18-9 all-time against Arizona in the preseason.
Denver owns a 143-122 (.540) all-time preseason record and has registered at least a .500 record in the preseason during 21 of the last 23 years, including last year’s 2-2 preseason record.
Exact dates and times for Denver’s preseason games will be announced later this month in coordination with the NFL’s release of the Broncos’ complete 2019 regular-season schedule.
