These two are the latest to have been reported as visiting the Chiefs before draft day
As a reminder, we still have our Chiefs draft prospect and workout tracker going strong at this link. We added two names to the tracker over the past few days: Notre Dame running back Dexter Williams and North Carolina linebacker Cole Holcomb have both visited the Kansas City Chiefs in the last week.

Our visit disclaimer: There are pre-draft visits and there are workouts. Players that visit the Chiefs’ facility do not physically work out — those are just visits where prospects meet the coaching staff and/or front office, as well as go through a physical. The Chiefs can work a player out someplace else, such as before or after their pro day on campus. Teams are allowed 30 players to visit their facility.
Notre Dame running back Dexter Williams
Listed at 5-feet-11 and 215 pounds, Williams was a four-year player for the Fighting Irish, but his best season was his last. In his senior year, he gained 995 yards on 158 carries — good for a nifty 6.3 yards per attempt — and scored 12 touchdowns. He also had 16 receptions for 133 yards and a touchdown. He had four games with at least 100 rushing yards, including 202 yards (and a pair of touchdowns) against Florida State.

North Carolina linebacker Cole Holcomb
Holcomb — listed at 6-feet-1 and 235 pounds — was a multi-year standout for the Tar Heels, becoming a starter in his sophomore year. He collected 377 tackles (171 solo) including 15.5 tackles for loss, and had 2.5 sacks and 12 passes defensed. He forced four fumbles in his senior season, in which he was named second-team All-ACC.

Holcomb didn’t get an invite to the NFL Combine, but we have this from NFL.com analyst Lance Zierlein:
Speedy run-and-chase linebacker with the eyes and instincts to diagnose and respond quickly, but lacking critical take-on skill at the point of attack. He has sideline-to-sideline range but he needs to play less reactively and with a more urgent play demeanor in attacking downhill. Holcomb’s outstanding pro day numbers should push his draft value up the board as a three-down backup Will linebacker and core special teamer.
