Chargers Scouting Report: Northern Illinois OT Max Scharping - Gavino Borquez
For some, Scharping needs a year under his belt to fight for a starting job, but I believe he can try to earn it during Year 1 as a pro. Given the huge need at the right tackle position, Scharping has the ability to compete with Sam Tevi and beat him out for the starting role.
Ranking all 32 NFL offensive lines by pass-blocking efficiency - Mark Chichester
In 13 years of grading games, the Chargers have finished in the top half of this list just once. Once. And even that was back in 2006. Extra Points: AAF, Dundon, Lock, Broncos - Andrew Ortenberg
According to Pelissero, Lock will then head to Los Angeles and meet with the Chargers tomorrow. If you believe the current reporting, the Chargers would likely have to trade up in the draft if they wanted to get Luck [sic].

“I’d recommend to anyone who likes scouting, or likes to watch these players, to go watch him against [defensive lineman] Quinnen Williams in that Alabama-Arkansas game this past season,” Renner said. “He did better than any offensive lineman I saw this season against him.”
