Report: Allen Bailey visiting the Seahawks on Tuesday

Despite double dipping into the edge rusher market in early April with the signings of Cassius Marsh and Nate Orchard, the Seattle Seahawks aren’t done looking for help. Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, former Kansas City Chief Allen Bailey is set to visit Seattle on Tuesday, after visiting with the Patriots and Panthers earlier in the offseason.

Bailey, an eight year veteran, has spent his entire career up to this point in Kansas City, starting 61 games and registering 19.5 sacks. Over the course of his time with the Chiefs, Bailey’s role has been predominantly as a rotational player, but over the last two seasons he had become a regular starter.

As a 3-4 defensive end in Kansas City, Bailey was listed at 288 pounds, but was over 300 at one point. Presumably, Bailey would bring outside-inside flexibility to the Seahawks, a trait Seattle is always looking for.
