With 11 picks in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals focus was keyed in on those 11 picks, but they had their eye towards undrafted free agency.
We reviewed all 12 undrafted free agent signings over the last week and today we take a look at one of the few draft analyst brave enough to rank the undrafted free agent classes.
Thor Nystrom of Rotoworld is that man and he had the Arizona Cardinals ranked 25th overall in the undrafted free agent class.
Nice choice by Sweet here, as Arizona only tossed a couple late Day 3 darts at their problematic offensive line last weekend.
It not that the Cardinals did a bad job with their undrafted free agents, it is more that they just didn’t invest as heavily as they normally do.
The Cardinals generally bring in 23-28 rookies for offseason workouts, well they have their 23 with their huge 2019 NFL Draft class.
So, the 12 undrafted makes sense. No need to bring in as many players when you invested draft capital into players already.
We’ll see if any of these players make the roster, of the 12, who would you pick?
Murray State quarterback Drew Anderson.
Ohio State linebacker Dante Booker.
Wofford defensive tackle Miles Brown.
Rutgers offensive lineman Tariq Cole.
Pitt linebacker James Folston Jr.
Arkansas cornerback Ryan Pulley.
Boise State wide receiver A.J. Richardson.
North Carolina offensive lineman William Sweet.
Louisiana Tech defensive lineman Immanuel Turner.
Tarleton State running back Xavier Turner.
Rutgers tight end Jerome Washington.
