Undrafted free agency is officially over for the Bengals. Here’s the class of 2019.
The Bengals are beginning rookie minicamp today and have announced the signing of their 10 college free agents from this year’s draft class.
- LB Curtis Akins, 6’1” 235, Memphis
- CB Anthony Chesley, 6’0” 188, Coastal Carolina
- QB Jake Dolegala, 6’7” 242, Central Connecticut State
- G/OT O’Shea Dugas, 6’4” 330, Louisiana Tech
- RB Jordan Ellis, 5’10 229, Virginia
- WR Charles Holland, 6’2” 194, Tiffin
- S Tyree Kinnel, Michigan, 5’11”, Michigan
- WR Stanley Morgan, 6’0” 202, Nebraska
- G/OT Keaton Sutherland, 6’5” 316, Texas A&M
- WR Damion Willis, 6’3” 204, Troy
Dolegala, Dugas, Ellis, Kinnel, Morgan and Sutherland were initially reported as signees last week upon the conclusion of the NFL Draft.
Akins was a four-year player for the Memphis Tigers and was Pro Football Focus’ top-graded linebacker in the AAC last season. At his pro day, he ran a 4.52 40-yard dash at 235 pounds.
Chesley is the first Coastal Carolina player to wear the orange and black since Jerome Simpson. He started for three years and graduated a year early as a Public Health major.
Holland is a local prospect from Tiffin University just up I-75 south of Toledo. His 267 career receptions set a new school record, beating out NFL veteran and Tiffin alum Nate Washington.
Willis will join Holland and Morgan as the third receiver in the group. He’s the youngest of the 10 as he will turn 22 on June 20th. Before putting up solid production at Troy, he was a junior college transfer from East Mississippi Community College.
