The Oakland Raiders just drafted Josh Jacobs in the first round and are expected to re-sign Doug Martin in the wake of Isaiah Crowell’s season-ending Achilles injury. But could Marshawn Lynch come back and play one more season with his home-town team? Recent reports indicated he was set to retire. Though, his mom debunked that notion with a single tweet. Following up on that, if Lynch were to be invited to play for the Raiders again, he would, per Steve Wyche of NFL Network. Lynch was effective in Oakland last year when healthy. He suffered a season-ending groin injury and was placed on injured reserve in October, but he still finished the season with 376 yards (4.2 yards per carry) and three touchdowns on the ground. At this point, it seems like Lynch rejoining the Raiders is a long shot. But the team could do a lot worse than bringing in an Oakland legend for its final season in that city.
