Mel Kiper calls A.J. Brown an instant impact rookie

The love for A.J. Brown around the internet is fun. It is a little scary because history tells us that getting excited about a receiver on the Titans only ends badly, but the law of averages have to be in our favor eventually, right? RIGHT?!??!?

Today I ran across two more articles giving love to Brown. The first was from Mel Kiper at ESPN where he highlighted some instant-impact rookies. He had this to say about the Titans rookie receiver:

Brown, who had 2,572 total receiving yards in the SEC over the past two seasons, could contribute as a rookie, as the Titans will use the season to evaluate quarterback Marcus Mariota in a make-or-break year. Mariota will need all of the options he can get, and Brown can play in the slot and outside.

The other article came from NFL.com where they were highlighting the top 10 rookies for fantasy football production:

A sure-handed playmaker, Brown ran most of his routes out of the slot during college. He also forced 17 broken tackles and produced 34 explosive plays, per Pro Football Focus. He projects to start opposite Corey Davis, but there’s a lot of mouths to feed in an offense that could be leaning on Derrick Henry as the run often. Brown has late re-draft appeal.

If you are willing to draft a Titans wide receiver in fantasy football you are colder than I.
