But he should be fine in time for camp
Minnesota Vikings’ tight end David Morgan is, apparently, a bit of a wild man. A few days ago, he won a contract from Chubbies to be a model for their clothing line for the next couple of years.
And, apparently, he celebrated by. . .getting his knee operated on.
#Vikings TE David Morgan recently had arthroscopic surgery to clean up the knee he injured last season, source said. Expected to be ready by training camp. Valuable blocker on team that’ll use a lot of tight ends.

Close, Personal Friend of The Daily Norseman Tom Pelissero™ is reporting that Morgan recently had surgery to do some “clean up” on the knee that caused him to miss several games in 2018. Before anyone gets too freaked out, however, it’s expected that he’s going to be ready to go by Training Camp.
Morgan hasn’t lit up the stat sheet since the Vikings drafted him in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. However, as Pelissero points out, he’s going to be a big part of the Vikings’ offense in 2019 because of his blocking skills. Hopefully the current prognosis is accurate and he’ll be able to get out on the field right away at the start of camp in. . .six weeks? Ugh.
