Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott met with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on Tuesday. The meeting stems from an altercation Elliott got into earlier this offseason in Las Vegas. While Elliott himself was apologetic following the meeting, there was no word one way or another whether he’d face suspension. Now, according to Jane Slater of NFL Media, the expectation is that Elliott won’t be disciplined by the league. This has to be seen as good news for both the young running back and his team. Remember, Elliott was suspended six games back in 2017 after domestic abuse allegations broke. It seems the meeting between Goodell and the All-Pro performer went extremely well. That’s the good news. The bad news? Elliott’s immaturity continues to display itself as he looks for a new contract. He must be on his best behavior moving forward.
